SteelMint's bi-weekly domestic pellet (Fe 63%) index, PELLEX, decreased by INR 100/t to INR 10,300/tonne (t) DAP Raipur on 3 October, 2023 compared to the last assessment on 29 September. A deal of 10,000 t has been reported at INR 10,300/t DAP Raipur in this publishing window.

Indian sponge iron prices edged down further today by INR 100-450/t in major locations. About 16,500 tonnes (t) of sponge iron transactions were recorded in the country on 3 October compared to 9,450 t on 30 September.

SteelMint's billet index decreased by INR 350/tonne (t) to INR 43,000/t exw-Raipur on 3 October, 2023. About 1,700 t of billet deals were concluded on 3 October compared to 2,100 t on 30 September.
