Vietnam: Rice exports plunge 56% y-o-y in Oct'25 amid weaker global demand

Vietnam's rice exports fell 56.2% y-o-y in Oct'25 to 344,000 t, with revenues from the same plunging 64.8% to $177 million, according to the National Statistics Office. In Jan-Oct'25, shipments declined 7.5% y-o-y to 7.2 mnt, valued at $3.7 billion, reflecting weaker overseas demand and tighter domestic supply.
