Vietnam: Ferrous scrap imports rise significant 77% m-o-m in Feb'25

• Vietnam's ferrous scrap imports rose 77% m-o-m to 492,877 t in Feb'25 from 278,732 t in Jan'25.
• Imports surged 26% y-o-y from 390,129 t in Feb'24.
• Japan led the exporters list with 364,142 t, accounting for over 50% of the total volume, followed by the United States (60,460 t) and Hong Kong (29,995 t).
• During Jan-Feb'25, imports decreased 22% to 771,609 t against 995,036 t in the year-ago period.
