Taiwan: Yusco lifts stainless steel prices in May for 6th straight month
Taiwan's Yusco raised stainless steel prices for the 6th consecutive month in May, with 304 grade up TWD 4,000/t ($126/t), taking cumulative hikes over the past 6 months to TWD 23,500/t ($743/t). 316L surcharges rose TWD 1,500/t ($47/t), while 430 series gained TWD 500/t ($16/t). Tighter Indonesian raw material supply, higher energy costs, rising freights, and firm export demand linked to AI-led sectors prompted the hike.
