South Korea: Steel billet imports rise by 19% m-o-m in Nov'23

• South Korea's steel billet imports rose by 19% m-o-m to 128,018 t in Nov'23 compared to 107,511 t in Oct'23, as per Customs data maintained with SteelMint.
• Japan emerged as the largest exporter with 117,323 t.
• However, cumulative import volumes (Jan-Nov'23) decreased by 13% y-o-y to 1.26 mnt as compared to 1.45 mnt in the year-ago period.
