Russia: RNK advances stainless steel integration with hot rolling mill installation

Russia's Russian Stainless Company (RNK) has completed installation of a Steckel mill at its Volzsky facility, marking a key step towards integrated stainless steel production. The plant is expected to begin hot-rolled flat output later this year, with full operations by Q3CY'26. Backed by TMK and Norilsk Nickel, the project aims to enhance domestic supply, reduce import reliance, and strengthen Russias competitiveness.
