Nepals rebar prices declined w-o-w by NPR 3,000/t ($33), with cash deal prices at NPR 81,000-83,000/t ($513-547/t). Bank guarantee transaction levels were heard at NPR 83,000-85,000/t ($547-562/t). Despite occasional price support, overall market sentiment remained cautious due to persistently weak demand, resulting in a gradual softening trend.Meanwhile, IF-EAF wire rod prices continued to decline, with current trade levels reported at around $550/t CNF Raxaul. Limited buying activity and subdued downstream demand continued to pressure sentiment in Nepals long steel market.
