Japan's ferrous scrap exports fall by nearly 30%, m-o-m, in Nov'23
- Japan's ferrous scrap exports dropped by 29% to 0.47 mnt in Nov'23 as against 0.66 mnt a month ago, as per customs data maintained with SteelMint.
- In Jan-Nov'23, exports rose by 7% to 6.02 mnt as against 5.65 mnt in the same period last year.
- Notably, Vietnam emerged as the leading importer of scrap with 0.15 mnt, followed by South Korea at 0.13 mnt and Taiwan at 0.06 mnt.
