Indonesia: Benchmark coal prices fall by 16% m-o-m in Dec'23

Indonesia's benchmark coal price, also known as Harga Batubara Acuan (6322 kcal/kg GAR) fell by 16% m-o-m in Dec'23. The HBA prices in Dec'23 were revised at $117.38/t. The price for the 5,300 kcal/kg GAR grade was recorded at $85.92/t. The prices for 4,100 kcal/kg GAR and 3,400 kcal/kg GAR were recorded at $57.7/t, rose by 9.2% and $34.18/t, up by 20%, respectively.
