India: Sponge iron prices edge up in Raipur as trade volumes rise

• SteelMint's assessment for sponge P-DRI (FeM 80%) rose by INR 200/t to INR 31,600/t exw-Raipur today on improved demand, rising billet prices and a rebound in the South African coal index.
• About 8,300 t of P-DRI (FeM 80%) deals were reported at INR 31,400-31,700/t on exw and DAP basis, while nearly 2,000 t of FeM 78% P-DRI trades were recorded at INR 31,300-31,400/t on DAP Raipur basis.
