India: South African coal prices rise further; buyers turn cautious

South African thermal coal prices at Indian ports edged higher w-o-w. As per BigMint's assessment, exw-Paradip, 5,500 NAR increased by INR 150/t to INR 10,500/t, while 4,800 NAR rose by INR 150/t to INR 9,100/t, supported by firm export offers amid ongoing supply tightness in South Africa. No movement was reported at Vizag, and Gangavaram saw no stock or offers. Ennore witnessed limited trades, though buyers were largely on the sidelines due to elevated prices and bid-offer gaps.
