India: SMIORE to auction around 130,000 t of iron ore from Karnataka
Sandur Manganese and Iron Ores (SMIORE) has scheduled an auction for 128,000 t of iron ore from Bellary, Karnataka, on 26 Aug'25. The total quantity includes 16,000 t (5-20 mm, Fe 54.5-56.8%), 11,000 t (20-40 mm, Fe 54.2-57.1%), and 29,000 t (10-40 mm, Fe 54.7-57.7%) of lumps and 72,000 t of fines (Fe 53.4-58.6%). Floor prices are yet to be declared and will be inclusive of royalty, DMF, and NMEDT charges.
