India: SMIORE to auction over 70,000 t of iron ore from Karnataka
Sandur Manganese and Iron Ores (SMIORE) has scheduled an auction for 77,000 t of iron ore from Bellary, Karnataka, on 16 Apr'25. The offered volume includes 69,000-t lumps (5-40 mm, Fe 54.8-61.2%) and 8,000-t fines (Fe 52.1-58.5%). In the previous auction, held on 4 Apr'25, SMIORE sold 16,000 t of fines (Fe 58.5-59.8%) at INR 3,700-4,000/t and 71,000 t of lumps (5-40 mm Fe 53.6-59.4%) at INR 3,410-5,470/t (all prices are inclusive of taxes).
