India: Silico manganese prices continue to rise w-o-w amid increasing ore costs

Domestic medium-carbon silico manganese (Mn 53%, Si 20%, C max 0.5%) prices increased by INR 1,700/t ($18/t) w-o-w to INR 88,000/t ($935/t) ex-works Durgapur on 26 Mar'26. The price rise was largely cost-driven, with high-grade manganese ore prices remaining elevated. Rupee depreciation has inflated the landed cost of imported raw materials, further increasing overall production costs. Offers were reported between INR 86,800-90,300/t ($922-$959/t).
