India: SAIL-DSP floats purchase tender for over 600 t of ferro chrome
India's largest steel producer, Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL), has scheduled an auction for 610 t for three of its plant (DSP and ISP: 280 t, 20-50 mm; ASP: 330 t, 10-30 mm) of high-carbon ferro chrome (57-63%) on 19 May'26. The bid offer is valid for 60 days from the date of the auction. BigMint's assessment of ferro chrome prices stood at INR 118,600/t exw-Jajpur as of 6 May.
