India: SAIL-Barsua auction sees bookings of over 55,000 tons of iron ore on 27 Dec'23

SAIL-Barsua conducted an auction for 19,810 t of iron ore tailings and 36,000 t of iron ore lumps. According to sources,

• 19,810 t of iron ore tailings (Fe 58.82%) were booked at INR 4,550/t.
• 36,000 t of iron ore lumps (10-50 mm, Fe 61%) got booked at INR 5,400/t.
• Price is on ex-mines and FOR loaded into rake basis, respectively, including royalty, DMF, NMET and extra premium.
