India: NMDC's Kumaraswamy iron ore auction fetches premium bids
NMDC conducted an auction for 272,000 t of iron ore on 27 Sep'24 from its Kumaraswamy mines.
- 144,000 t lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 60.96-63.91%) booked at INR 4,692-5,937/t against base prices INR 3,982-4,577/t
- 128,000 t fines (Fe 55.13-61.35%) booked at INR 2,462-4,263/t against base prices INR 2,372-3,443/t (prices on ex-mines basis, including royalty, DMF, and NMET)
