India: Mill scale prices show mixed trends

Mill scale prices softened in Kandla but remained stable in Raipur.

• Kandla: Prices edged down by INR 100/t to INR 8,500/t DAP against 21 Jan; 9,000 t were booked at INR 8,350-8,600/t. Active restocking by exporters led to a spike in prices recently. However, softening global iron ore market sentiment pressured prices.
• Raipur: Prices held steady at INR 6,600/t exw; 500 t booked at INR 6,750/t.
