India: Medium-carbon silico manganese prices inch up on higher manganese ore costs

Medium-carbon silico manganese (Mn 53%, Si 20%, C max 0.5%) prices in India increased by INR 300/t ($3/t) w-o-w to INR 83,700/t ($914/t) on 22 Jan'26 due to rising high-grade imported manganese ore costs, which lifted production expenses. Steady domestic steel demand also supported the price rise. Offers were reported in the INR 82,700-84,000/t ($914-917/t) range, with deals for around 2,350 t concluded between INR 82,700-84,000/t ($914-917/t).
