India: Leading steelmaker raises flat product prices for late Mar26 amid supply shortages

A leading Indian steelmaker has raised prices of flat products for late-Mar'26 deliveries. HRC and CRC prices were increased by INR 1,500/t ($16/t), galvanised plain (GP) prices by INR 2,000/t ($21/t), , and pre-painted galvanised iron (PPGI) prices were increased by INR 1,500/t ($16/t). The price hikes were driven by supply constraints, elevated logistics costs, and continued geopolitical uncertainties affecting gas availability.
