India: Leading stainless steel producer revises coil prices amid rising alloy costs
A major stainless steel producer has revised its HR and CR coil prices, effective 13 May. The increase in the 300 series is primarily supported by firm nickel prices and rising molybdenum costs amid concentrate shortage globally and good Chinese demand. Revised prices are as follows:304/304L HR: +INR 4,000/t,304/304L CR: +INR 3,000/t,316/316L HR/CR: +INR 10,000/t.
