India: Ferro chrome export prices strengthen w-o-w across Asian markets
Indian ferro chrome export prices to China rose 2 cents/lb w-o-w to 97 cents/lb CNF despite subdued pre-Lunar New Year activity, as Indian domestic prices increased. Meanwhile, offers to South Korea rose 1 cent/lb to 100 cents/lb CNF and to Japan increased by 2 cents/lb to 102 cents/lb CNF amid expectations of increased demand. Logistics disruptions in South Africa are expected to make competitively priced Indian material more attractive.
