China: Baosteel to cut domestic tinplate prices by RMB 150/t ($22/t)

• China's Baoshan Iron and Steel announced a reduction in domestic tinplate prices for Jul'22 deliveries by RMB 150/t ($22/t) compared to Jun.
• The company's domestic tinplate sales prices have retreated from the third consecutive month of hike and are expected to remain flat in Jun'22, Japan Metal Daily reported.
• There is the possibility that supply and demand of tinplates in China may tighten further.
