Baltic Dry Index rises marginally amid gains in smaller vessel segments

The Baltic Dry Index increased by 0.15% (4 points) to 2,677 on 28 Apr'26 against 24 Apr, supported by gains in the Panamax and Supramax segments, which outweighed weakness in the Capesize index.

• Capesize: BCI dropped 0.25% (11 points) to 4,304.
• Panamax: BPI was up 0.05% (1 point) to 1,966.
• Supramax: BSI rose by 1.31% (20 points) to 1,542.
