Australia: Iron ore shipments from Port Hedland, Dampier rise m-o-m in Mar'26
Iron ore shipments from Port Hedland and Port Dampier in Western Australia's Pilbara increased by 15.8% and 5.6% m-o-m in Mar'26 to 46.36 mnt and 11.35 mnt, respectively, as per the Pilbara Port Authority. The rise in shipments was driven by improved weather conditions compared to Feb'26, resumptions in mining activity following cyclonic disruptions, and steady Chinese demand amid firm steel production.
