Australia: Hay Point coal shipments drop m-o-m on seasonal disruptions but rise y-o-y

• Australia's Port Hay Point recorded coal shipments of 2.68 mnt in Jan'26, down 14% m-o-m from 3.11 mnt in Dec'25. The decline was mainly due to seasonal weather disruptions and lower loading activity.
• However, shipments increased 25% y-o-y compared to 2.14 mnt in Jan'25. The increase reflects stronger export demand and improved mining output against previous year.
