SteelMint's bi-weekly domestic pellets (Fe 63%) index, PELLEX, stood at INR 7,600/tonne (t), stable compared to the last assessment on 15 November, 2022. Trades remained muted on continuous bid-offer disparities and the sharp drop in sponge iron prices.

SteelMint's daily sponge iron, CDRI, index was assessed at INR 29,400/tonne (t) (- INR 450) exw-Rourkela on 18 November, 2022. About 1,200 t of transactions were recorded on 18 November as against 500 t on 17 November.
