Suvidhi Energy secures L1 position
Suvidhi Energy India Pvt Ltd emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) in RINL's latest 30,000 t blast furnace (BF) coke procurement tender at a quoted average value of around INR 38,800/t FOR (Free on Rail). The awarded price was approximately INR 2,200/t higher than the RINL's previous tender concluded on 27th Apr'26 for 1,20,000 t BF coke tender with awarded price of INR 36,600/t FOR, reflecting firmer domestic coke market conditions. The procurement covers 30,000 t of BF coke, with deliveries scheduled within 21 days of order placement, subject to RINL's prescribed technical specifications and quality requirements.
Reverse auction ensures competitive pricing
The tender adopted a reverse-auction-based price discovery mechanism, allowing technically qualified bidders to compete on price after technical evaluation. Conducted on a total-value evaluation basis, the procurement reflects RINL's continued focus on transparent sourcing and securing competitive coke supplies amid steady demand from the steel sector.
