Nabha Power Limited (NPL), a subsidiary of L&T, has invited a tender for the purchase of 900,000 MT imported/domestic non coking coal at NPL’s Rajpura Thermal Power Plant, Punjab on ‘delivered to the plant’ basis. The bid is invited from experienced parties for the period from 1 Apr’18 to 30 Sep’18.
NPL has successfully commissioned 2X700 MW Super Critical Thermal Power Plant at Rajpura, Punjab. Both Units are in operation. Efficient and dependable of power from NPL forms the backbone of power supply to the State of Punjab.
Japanese technology based super critical power plant is being primarily source coal for this through Linkage from SECL. FSA is executed for 5.55 MTPA of ROM coal. Bulk of the coal is being sourced through various washeries in State of Chhattisgarh. To support the deficit, NPL is proposing to purchase imported coal.
The price bid will remain valid till 25th Sep’18.
