India: Mid Size Rebar Mills Observed Improve Demand

Indian secondary rebar market observed positivity following better response through the participants and price range increased by INR 600-800/MT in overall regions except in south India on weekly basis.

Strengthening prices noticed since beginning of week and slight trade improvement sustain positive sentiments and it is anticipated among industrialist that market won’t get any major drop in near term.

Further, market participants shared that few specified location has adjusted their production level up to 60-70% amid average trades along with considerable stocks.

-- North region based Rathi Steels unchanged their offering at INR 39,100/MT.

-- Central region, Raipur based - SPEED TMT unchanged their offering at INR 35,400/MT.

-- Gujarat based, Keyur Ispat Ltd offering at INR 37,800/MT FoR, increased by INR 300/MT.

-- Akshar Ispat Ltd current offering at INR 38,100/MT FOR, increased by INR 300/MT.

-- Jalna based Kalika Steels has unchanged their prices at INR 37,300/MT.

-- Jalna based SRJ Peety Steels Pvt Ltd (Shree Om) TMT slightly increase their prices by INR 200/MT & offering at INR 37,300/MT.

-- South region based Pulkit Steel (Pulkit TMT) unchanged their offering at INR 38,500/MT.

-- South region - Chennai based ARS Trusteel unchanged their offering at INR 41,000/MT.
