Fresh Bulk Scrap Trade reported in Turkish Market

Fresh bulk scrap trade of 68,000 tonne reported in turkey, the prices at which the deals are reported are at the same levels at which the previous deals have been done. Turkey scrap market is actively booking cargo to stock raw material for the mills in Turkey before the Ramadan festival.

The deals reported are between:

• BST and YESILYKURT for a cargo of 35,000 tonne cargo containing 22,500 tonne HMS 1 & 2 (75:25), 4,500 tonne PS HMS 1, 4,500 tonne New cuttings and 3,500 tonne Shredded at an average rate of USD 270/MT. The Shipment is expected to reach in July.
  
  

• Another deal that has been heard is by FSR and IDC for a cargo containing 26,500 tonne HMS (80:20), at an average rate of USD 272/MT, 1,500 tonne Shredded at an average rate of USD 277/MT, 5,500 tonne bonus at an average rate of USD 282/MT.
