BigMint's billet index for Raipur dropped INR 250/t d-o-d to INR 42,050/t ex-works. The conversion spread from pellet-based sponge iron (PDRI) to billets for standalone induction furnaces in the Raipur cluster was assessed at around INR 16,150/t.

India's sponge iron prices declined by INR 50-400/tonne (t) d-o-d across regions. BigMint recorded trade volumes of around 10,200 t.

BigMint's domestic end-cutting scrap index, tracking the Mandi Gobindgarh market, dipped by INR 200/tonne (t) d-o-d to INR 38,900/t DAP.
