Vietnam's coal and coke imports rise 35% m-o-m in Dec'25

Vietnam's bulk imports of coal and coke (including coking and non-coking coal and metallurgical coke) stood at 3.54 mnt in Dec'25, up 34.8% m-o-m from 2.62 mnt in Nov. On a y-o-y basis, imports recorded a drop of 3.9% from 3.7 mnt in Dec'24. Total imports in CY'25 stood at 47.2 mnt, decreasing by 9.6% compared to CY'24. Indonesia emerged as the largest exporter at 21.1 mnt in CY'25.
