Taiwan: Yusco raises stainless steel prices for fifth time in a row since Dec'25

Taiwan's Yieh United Steel Corp (Yusco) has increased Apr'26 stainless steel prices, marking the fifth consecutive hike since Dec. Surcharges for 304 and 316L grades rose by TWD 4,000/t ($124/t), while 430 increased by TWD 1,500/t ($46/t), taking cumulative gains in 304 to TWD 19,500/t ($608/t). The hike is driven by rising energy costs, tighter raw material supply, and currency fluctuations, keeping cost pressures elevated.
