Taiwan: Yusco hikes stainless steel prices for Jan'26 on cost pressures
Yieh United Steel Corp. (Yusco) has announced a price hike for Jan'26, raising 304 stainless steel prices by TWD $5,000/t ($160/t) and 316L by TWD $1,000/t ($32/t), while keeping 430-series rates unchanged. The move marks the second consecutive monthly increase, driven by higher nickel pig iron costs due to Indonesias tighter ore quotas, China's new export licensing regime, and supportive global macro cues.
