Taiwan: Walsin Lihwa hikes stainless steel prices for Jan'26 on global cost support
Taiwan-based Walsin Lihwa announced price increases for its January 2026 stainless steel products, led by a TWD $4,000/t($127/t) hike in the 300 series, supported by a recovery in nickel prices and a weaker New Taiwan Dollar. The company also cited improving financial conditions following US rate cuts. Prices for the 200 series rose by TWD $1,000/t ($32/t), while 400 series and 316L surcharges remained unchanged.
