South Korea: Hyundai Steel cuts scrap procurement prices by up to $7/t
Hyundai Steel, South Korea's second-largest blast furnace steel producer, has announced a reduction in steel scrap purchase prices, effective 17 Oct'24. The company will reduce the purchase prices of all grades of steel scrap by KRW 10,000/t ($7/t) at its Incheon and Dangjin plants, in response to current market conditions.
