SAIL Bokaro pig iron auction witnesses strong price rebound
SAIL-BSL Bokaro conducted a steel-grade pig iron auction on 25 Mar26, offering 7,000 t, with the entire quantity booked at a base price of INR 35,750/t. This reflects a strong recovery compared to the 12 Nov25 auction, where only 4,200 t were sold at INR 31,450/t, with prices rising by INR 4,300/t, driven by higher raw material costs.
