LME grants approval for first four warehouses in Hong Kong
The London Metal Exchange (LME) has approved its first 4 warehouse facilities in Hong Kong. This follows Hong Kong's approval as a warehouse delivery point in Jan'25. These facilities will start accepting metal from 15 Jul, joining the LME's existing 32 locations. Warehouse companies can charge up to 51 cents/t for copper storage in South Korea and Singapore, while in Hong Kong, the fee will be 61 cents.
