Japan: Tokyo Steel keeps scrap purchase prices unchanged across all plants
In its fifth price revision this month, Tokyo Steel has kept scrap purchase values unchanged across all plants, effective 25 Oct'25. H2 scrap prices at these plants were:
- Tahara: JPY 43,000/t ($282/t).
- Kyushu: JPY 43,000/t ($282/t).
- Okayama: JPY 43,000/t ($282/t).
- Tokyo Bay: JPY 43,000/t ($282/t).
- Nagoya: JPY 42,500/t ($279/t).
- Kansai: JPY 42,000/t ($276/t).
- Utsunomiya: JPY 42,000/t ($276/t).
