Japan: Kanto scrap tender prices rise for 5th consecutive month in Dec'25

• Japan's Kanto scrap tender for Dec'25 logged its fifth straight increase, with bids rising JPY 728/t ($5/t) m-o-m.
• A 15,000-t H2 lot was awarded via a trader to a Vietnamese mill at JPY 45,688/t ($292/t) FAS, translating to roughly $330/t CFR Vietnam.
• In dollar terms, the gain was limited to just $1/t, as the weaker JPY (from 153.8/$ on 11 Nov to 156.6/$ on 10 Nov) lifted export offer levels.
