Iran: Domestic billet, rebar prices drop amid demand-supply disparity
Iran's domestic billet prices dropped amid surplus supply of the material leading to decline in prices as power shortage problem has been resolved. Demand is yet to improve in the domestic market. Following decline in billet prices rebar prices also fell.
- Billet prices decreased by 1,000 rial/kg to 243,000 rial/kg on 23 Sep'24 as against 18 Sep.
- Rebar prices dropped by 3,000 rial/kg to 292,000 rial/kg on 23 Sep.
