Iran: Billet prices rise 1% compared to 3 Dec'25

• Billet prices in Iran rose by 4,500 rial/kg ($11/t, 1%) to 377,500 ($897/t), while rebar prices were at 485,000 ($1,153/t) on 8 Dec'25.
• The implementation of the 'Second Hall' rate lifted base prices despite weak demand and halted exports. The rebar-HRC gap has widened to over 200,000 rials.
• High inventories, secondary resale below exchange levels, and ample mill stocks may delay full impact for at least two weeks.
