India: Vedanta reduces copper prices for Aug'25
Vedanta's Sterlite Copper has reduced its CCR 8-mm ex-plant prices to INR 920,457/t, excluding GST, from INR 932,683/t in Jul'25, effective 1 Aug'25. The drop reflects easing global prices following the US tariff announcement. Currently, LME copper is around $9,760/t, although averaging $9,780/t in Jul'25, up from $9,700/t in Jun'25. Indian cut cathode prices were INR 914,005/t exw in Aug'25, down INR 12,310/t m-o-m.
