India: Vardhman Special Steels to set up greenfield steel plant in Punjab

Vardhman Special Steels is planning to set up a greenfield plant in Punjab with a capacity of 500,000 t/year of billets and a new rolling mill and testing facilities. In FY'25, the company's revenues rose by 6.2% y-o-y to INR 17.64 billion, while EBITDA reached INR 1.77 billion and PAT stood at INR 930.9 million. Q4 sales volume grew by 3.29% y-o-y to 53,834 t despite a 14-day shutdown.
