India: U Krishna Prasad's iron ore auction from Karnataka receives weak response

U Krishna Prasad conducted an iron ore auction for 22,900 t of lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 60.71-62.71%) and 30,800 t of fines (Fe 58.75-64.10%) from its Dharmapura mines, Karnataka on 27 Sep'24. According to sources, only 12,000 t of lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 60.71%) were booked at the base price of INR 5,500/t. Prices are inclusive of royalty, DMF and NMET.
