India: Trade-level HR plate prices rise w-o-w on mid-March'26 mill price hikes

BigMint's weekly benchmark for HR plate (20-40 mm, Gr E250 Br.) increased w-o-w by INR 2,200/t ($24/t) to INR 60,600/t ($652/t) as of 18 March 2026, up from INR 58,400/t ($628/t) a week earlier. The rise follows mid-March 2026 price hike announcements by major mills. Prices are ex-Mumbai, distributor-to-dealer, excluding 18% GST.
