India: Tata Metaliks increases pig iron prices by INR 1,500/t ($18/t)
Tata Metaliks has increased pig iron (both basic and foundry grades) prices by INR 1,500/t ($18/t) due to short supplies and robust demand. Post-revision, prices of foundry-grade pig iron stood at INR 46,500/t ($558/t) while those of basic-grade (Si 1.0-1.5%) were at INR 44,000/t ($528/t). Prices are exw-Kharagpur and applicable for the Kolkata and Howrah markets.
