India's sponge iron export market remained under pressure this week, following the persistent domestic downtrend. Export offers to Nepal slipped by $1/t w-o-w, assessed at $312/t CPT Raxaul, while offers to Bangladesh declined by $2/t, settling at $322/t CPT Benapole, according to BigMint's weekly assessment. Buying activity remained limited, with deals for around 3,500 t of sponge iron concluded, destined for Bangladesh.
