India: Sponge iron export offers ease marginally by $1-5/t for Nepal, Bangladesh

India's sponge iron export market remained under pressure this week, tracking the persistent downtrend in the domestic market. As per BigMint's weekly assessment, offers to Nepal declined by $5/t to $335/t CPT Raxaul, while offers to Bangladesh eased by $1/t to $344/t CPT Benapole. Buying activity remained limited during the week, with approximately 5,500 t of sponge iron deals were concluded, destined for Bangladesh.
